Taylor Frac produces and delivers high quality Jordan Substrate silica sand, which is used as a preferred proppant in unconventional oil and gas wells. Taylor Frac’s facilities include a wet and dry plant located on 393 acres in Taylor, Wisconsin. The Taylor Frac facility encompasses a sand mine and processing plant with high quality Northern White Jordan Substrate reserves. The Northern White Jordan frac sand meets or exceeds API standards including, roundness, sphericity and crush resistance. Approximately 75% of the reserves are higher demand fine grades of 40/70, and 100 mesh.
Taylor has unit train capabilities on the Canadian National (CN) Railway providing a low cost option for transportation into the Appalachian Basin (Utica, Marcellus) and Western Canada.
Taylor Frac’s effective processing capacity is 1.75 Mmtpa.
