Taylor Frac, LLC produces and delivers high quality Jordan Substrate silica sand, which is used as a preferred proppant in unconventional oil and gas wells. Taylor Frac's facilities include a wet and dry plant located on 393 acres in Taylor, Wisconsin. The Taylor Frac facility encompasses a sand mine and processing plant with an estimated 37 Million tons of high quality Northern White Jordan Substrate reserves. The Northern White Jordan frac sand meets or exceeds API standards including, roundness, and sphericity and crush resistance. Approximately 73% of the reserves are higher demand fine grades of 40/70, and 100 mesh.
Taylor's location on the Canadian National (CN) Railway provides for a low cost option for transportation into the Appalachian Basin (Utica, Marcellus) and Western Canada. Construction has commenced on expanding Taylor Frac's dry plant capabilities from 0.7 Mtpa to 1.75 Mtpa with an expected completion date in the fourth quarter of 2017 at an approximate cost of $23 Million.
