Mr. Danny Ward has been a professional in the Oil and Gas industry for 38 years. During his tenure in the sector, which began in 1974, Mr. Ward has worked in numerous capacities within the oilfield service industry including but not limited to sales, service, and management in various capacities. Some of the more recent accomplishments of Mr. Ward include his time spent with Drilex Systems in which his responsibilities grew from local sales and marketing of down hole tools to President of South American Operations. Mr. Ward worked for Drilex Systems from 1989-1996, during which time, he was responsible for the development of the Western United States regional platform. On the heels of the success of Mr. Ward's development of his US territory, in which Amoco was one of his larger customers, he was asked to expand Drilex's footprint to include South America in which he was responsible for start up operations. In 1997 Mr. Ward joined Daily Directional Services in which his primary responsibilities included the start up of directional drilling operations in the Mid-Continent United States. Shortly after successfully building out the operational footprint, Daily Directional Services was acquired by Weatherford, where he worked until 2002. In 2002 Mr. Ward joined Quantum Drilling Motors as the Chief Operating Officer in which he was responsible for operations in which sales grew from $2MM/year in 2002 to $20MM/year in 2005. In 2006 Quantum was sold to Diamondback Energy Services/Great White LLC (a Wexford Company), in which Mr. Ward was responsible for leading the directional drilling division through an aggressive growth strategy that through acquisition (DDC Appalachians) and organic growth increased top line revenue to $108MM by 2008. In 2011 Mr. Ward was actively involved in the filing of the S-1, during which time Archer acquired Great White. Mr. Ward, acting in his capacity as President of Great White's drilling division, has had direct oversight of operations in which sales are approaching an annual run rate in excess of $225MM while managing approximately 90 kits and support equipment. Mr. Ward brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Panther Drilling Systems.
Performance Drilling Coordinator
Mr. Ward has been employed in the directional drilling field services industry since 1997. From 1997 to 2003, Mr. Ward served as motor technician in the repair center for Daily Oil Tools and Weatherford International. From 2003 to 2011, Bryan held the position of motor technician, MWD field technician at well sites, safety coordinator for all regions and for the last seven years has been responsible for sales and services for all product lines for Great White. Mr. Ward has continued the sales and service roll for Panther since 2012. Mr. Ward obtained his Bachelors of Science in Industrial Safety with emphasis in Environmental Safety from the University of Central Oklahoma in December 2004. Mr. Ward has 15 years oilfield experience in key roles.
Drilling Tools Product Line Manager
Mr. Bourque has served as Drilling Tools Product Line Manager in his career since January 2007. Previously Mr. Bourque served as Drilling Motors Service Manager for Great White Directional from 2007 to 2011 and from 2003 through 2007 with Quantum Drilling Motors, an oilfield services company. From 2002 to 2003 he served as Motor Shop Supervisor for Ryan Energy Technologies, an oilfield services company. From 2001 to 2002 he served as Service Shop Supervisor with National Oilwell Varco, an oilfield services company. From 2000 to 2001 he served as Motor Shop Supervisor with Weatherford Dailey International, an oilfield services company. Mr. Bourque served from January 1985 to January 2000 as Motor Shop Supervisor with Drilex Systems Performance Drilling, an oilfield services company acquired by Baker Hughes in June 1997. Mr. Bourque has over 27 years experience in all aspects of directional, horizontal, and drilling motor services.
Trey Smith currently holds the position of Finance for Panther Drilling Systems. For the past 3 years, Mr. Smith has held Financial and Analytical roles in the Oil and Gas Service Industry. Prior to the start of Panther, Mr. Smith held the position of Financial and Operational Analyst for Archer Directional Drilling (Formerly Great White Directional). Since early 2011, he has worked through the initial public offering process and the sale of Great White Directional to Archer in late 2011. Prior to Archer, he held the position of Logistics Manager of the remote mining supply company, Storm Procurement, from 2009 to 2011. Trey obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration Finance from Fort Lewis College in the winter of 2008. Trey brings 4 years of management experience to the team.
Director US Operations and Development
Kevin began his directional drilling career in 2008. He has worked as a directional driller, directional contractor, and well planner with advanced experience in all phases and types of well designs also having advanced experience in torque and drag analysis and anti-collision reviews. Kevin's directional experience is primarily in the NE Region with underbalanced, air, and fluid drilling operations but has drilled wells in Texas, Mississippi and Oklahoma also. Prior to joining Panther Drilling Systems, Kevin served as the NE Region Manager for Archer Directional Drilling Services. Prior to his oil & gas industry work, Kevin served in the US Navy as a Nuclear Electrician and 14 years with the State of Michigan as a Conservation Law Enforcement Sergeant.
