Contract Land and Directional Drilling
Bison Drilling owns and operates 13 drilling rigs throughout the Permian Basin working for both private and public operators. Management has over 25 years of experience in the Permian with strong relationships with both public and private operators.
Bison’s rigs range from 800 to 1,600 horsepower and have the ability to drill the most challenging wells in the area. Over the past several years, we selectively upgraded several of our rigs with walking systems and high pressure fluid ends to conform to the needs of our clients.

With 32 trucks in the fleet, Bison Trucking has the ability to move several rigs at once. Bison Trucking, identifying a need in the Permian market, recently moved into the sand hauling business with the purchase of 20 trucks and pneumatic trailers. Given the steady rise in sand concentrations over the past several years and expectation of increased proppant needs per well going forward, Bison Trucking is well positioned to respond to current market needs.
